Frequently Asked Questions(for students)

What is "login name"?

It is a name provided by the University to the student to login to the University information system. The login name is valid until the completion of studies.

Where can I get my login name?

Login names for the freshmen are provided individually by personal e-mail adress.
If you forgot your login name, you can find it on the website at www.lsu.lt/en > Studies > LSU Information System (is.lsu.lt), by clicking "Unable to login".

What is my password?

Your initial temporary password consists of the first 3 letters of your name, the first 3 letter of your surname and the last 4 characters of your national identification number (for foreigners "1234"), e.g.: jonkaz8357, (for foreigners jonkaz1234). If you changed your initial temporary password but forgot it, you can change your password on the website at www.lsu.lt/en > Studies > LSU Information System (is.lsu.lt), by clicking "Unable to login"

What is my personal e-mail address?

<login_name>@stud.lsu.lt or name.surname@stud.lsu.lt . You can login to your e-mail at www.lsu.lt/en > Studies > E-mail for Students (pastas.lsu.lt). E-mail login name is your login name with the ending @stud.lsu.lt, e.g.: jonkaz@stud.lsu.lt

General Information about system(for students)

LSU Information System (is.lsu.lt) – the system provides online services for students in order to facilitate their daily procedures.

Timetable – the student's personal timetable of classes.
Grades – here you can find your grades.
Requests – the system for submitting different type of requests by the student. Here you can create and submit your requests.
My files - the system where you can find files attached to requests.
Staff – the list of contacts of the LSU staff. Here you can easily find the number of a room, e-mail address, internal phone number and other information about any staff member you are looking for.
Internship – the system for filling out and submission of the student's internship agreement.
Library - here you can check the books taken out from the library and find the sum for overdue loans.
My Fees and Payments – the list of student's fees and payments. Here you can print different bills for payment.
Rector's orders – the list of Rector's orders for the student concerned.
MP – Selection of modules for the 1st year students.
BT – Selection of topics for the Bachelor/Master thesis.
AL – Information on student obligations before leaving the University.
Main – here you can change your alternative e-mail address, confirm your registration for the new academic year at the LSU and sign the declaration of academic honesty.
Logout – disconnection from the LSU Information System (IS). The IS will remember your login name and password for the next 9 hours so you do not have to re-enter them every time you login to the IS. The IS will automatically logout after 9 hours and will ask you to login again.
